76ers win second straight game over Hawks

The Philadelphia 76ers built on their momentum from Game 2 to defeat the Atlanta Hawks 127-111 in Game 3 of the series on Friday.

The East leaders in the regular season took the lead in the third quarter with 34 points while limiting their opponents to a mere 19 points. They entered the fourth quarter with a 20-point lead and cruised to victory without any worries. The Sixers took the lead in the series 2-1. Game 4 will once again take place in Atlanta on Monday. The Hawks suffered their first home loss since April 15.

Joel Embiid once again dominated his rivals under the basket with 27 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Tobias Harris had 22 points while Ben Simmons finished his night with 18 points.

For the Hawks, Trae Young recorded 28 points, while Clint Capela had only eight points. He still grabbed 16 rebounds.
