Manchester City wants to sign Paul Pogba!

Free of contract at the end of the season, the 2018 world champion has refused any extension at Manchester United and would consider joining Pep Guardiola’s Cityzens this summer.

As his contract expires on June 30, French midfielder Paul Pogba confirmed his desire to leave to the Manchester United management but did not want to choose his new club before the end of the season, in order to be focused in the Champions League race with the Red Devils. But while MU seems to be away from the top four, five points behind Arsenal (who have two games in hand), the 2018 World Cup winner can start looking at his new destination.

Since January 1, when interested clubs can start approaching the Pioche by informing his managers, the names of several European giants had been looking at his situation, including Paris Saint-Germain, but without any real discussion in the aftermath. Guardiola wants to sign Pogba

Indeed, according to the Guardian, confirmed by the Daily Mail, Manchester City would consider signing Paul Pogba at the end of his lease at United. Pogba would not be closed to a move to the Manchester rivals, as he would like to play under Pep Guardiola. The British daily adds that the Skyblues management would offer the 29-year-old a four-year contract, with an additional season as an option.

His signature should fill the gap left by captain Fernandinho, after nine years of loyal service since his arrival from Shakhtar Donetsk, who is expected to return to the Brazilian league. The departure of Pogba would therefore confirm his failure in Manchester, his formative club that had paid no less than 105 million euros in the summer of 2016.
